About Springbank Distillery

Springbank Distillery was founded in 1828 on the site of Archibald Mitchell's illegal distillery. For five generations it has belonged to the Mitchell family, who own Springbank and Glengyle (Kilkerran).

The distillery produces three types of whisky: Hazelburn – unsmoked whisky, Springbank – lightly smoked, and Longrow – heavily smoked.

The distillery uses traditional production methods and the complete process of this unique whisky takes place right in Campbeltown.
